Why we built it

Residential construction runs on relationships, and that's a good thing. But relationships don't scale in a busy season. When the work comes in faster than your regular subs can take it, you're back to the phone list, the group texts and the referrals from a friend of a friend. And when a trade company has an open week, there's no good way to find the contractors who need exactly that crew.

Big commercial bid platforms solved this years ago for office towers and hospitals. They're priced and built for that world. Contracting Bridge brings the same idea to the projects most contractors actually do: houses, remodels, additions and light commercial work.

What we believe

• Bids stay private. Trades should be priced on the work, not on someone else's number.
• Trust is earned on real jobs. That's why only the two sides of an awarded job can review each other.
• Trades shouldn't pay for leads. Bidding on an invitation is free on every plan, forever.
• The general contractor's side stays free. Every project posted is what brings work to the trades.
• Keep it simple. If it doesn't work on a phone at a job site, it doesn't ship.

Where we are

We're launching now, starting with exterior trades and growing into every residential trade. Contracting Bridge works anywhere in the United States: projects match by distance from each trade's ZIP code, so it gets more useful as more companies join near you.
